Doon Ceratronics manufactures piezoelectric ceramics based on the solid solution of Lead Titan ate (PbTiO3) and Lead Zirconate (PbZrO3) which are popularly known as PZT. A brief description of the materials is given below:

 

DCPL-4 is a modified version Lead Zirconate Titanate composition with a low dielectric & mechanical loss combined with large mechanical drive amplitude makes it ideally suited for high power applications like Ultrasonic Cleaners, Atomisation, nebulisers, and other high power applications, like beauty devices.
 

DCPL-5 It is a modified Lead Zirconate Titanate Ceramic, providing transducer elements with high electro mechanical coupling coefficient and high charge sensitivity and curie temp of 350 º C, used for sensing applications like ultrasonic flaw detection, under water echo sounding, pressure gauges, strain gauges, accelerometers, medical Instruments, flow meters, NDT systems, Level gauges and many other devices.
